The Story of Bikeary
There’s a reason we called it Bikeary — part bike shop, part bakery (not the bread-making kind, but the kind that loves the smell of freshly baked loaves on a slow morning ride). It began with a simple vision: to create a space where people could hang around, swap stories, and connect through cycling. Not a performance-focused shop, not a technical pit stop — but a place that embraced biking as a lifestyle. A pause. A form of presence.
We started in 2015 with a handful of Brooks saddles, sold from Pam’s grandparents’ living room. Just a few people, a few products, and a lot of heart. What we lacked in storefront space, we made up for in curiosity and care — searching for items that weren’t easily found in the Philippines, products we personally used and believed in. That mindset hasn’t changed.
In 2022, we finally opened a brick-and-mortar store. Not to scale, but to slow down. We wanted our community to experience the textures, details, and feeling of every item we carry. Because everything we put in the shop is handpicked — not for hype, but for how it makes you feel when you ride. From zipped rolls to lights, bottles to locally made goods, every piece is part of a bigger belief: that your bike is more than just a machine. It's a canvas. It carries your rhythm, your rituals, your story.
We’ve always seen bikes as more than tools for commuting or competition. They’re a way to carve out headspace in the middle of a noisy city. To explore without agenda. To find joy in movement, without the pressure of speed. We believe in leisure rides, scenic detours, and accessories that aren’t just functional but meaningful — things that help you feel more like you on the saddle.
Bikeary is curated by women who love to travel with their bikes. It's shaped by a community of riders who remind us that cycling is about showing up — for yourself, for others, for the ride. Every event we host, every product we carry, every drop we release is rooted in that same intention: to foster a kind of biking culture that’s thoughtful, soulful, and open to everyone.
