Thanks to the flexible sandwich construction, in which ultra-fine aluminium strips are embedded in a plastic coating, the mudguards are extremely robust, bend-resistant and protected against corrosion.

The ASR safety system decouples the stays if branches get between the spokes so that the wheel does not lock.
